Ominous has finished the drums for his first Jezehell song. Next, he’ll be recording the guitars and bass.

The drums are finished for another new Jezehell song entitled “Staring into the Wretched“. There is a possibility that I’ll be recording the guitars tomorrow…

Ominous has decided to re-record all the guitars for the album Godless. We’ve been struggling to find the right guitar tone for a long time. Ominous is experimenting with a new amp and has been tweaking the guitar pedal in search of the perfect sound. In the meantime, we’ll be working on Jezehell/Moonlight Bathe/Spellghast albums…

The first Jezehell song “Thy Kingdom Cum” is officially underway. The drums and guitars are finished and the bass is currently being recorded by Ominous.

OMINOUS GRIM-The songs “Ravens”, “The Fury”, “As the Fog Rolls In for the Slaughter”, “The Rebellion” and “Shunning the Light of Christ” are now on soundclick. Ominous may end up re-mixing “Shunning the Light of Christ”, but we’ll see… It looks like I’ll be waiting until most likely the end of next week to do the vocals for the songs “Holy Ruins II” and “The Crowning Thorns of Guilt” due to my recent sickness. I’ll probably also wait until the Monday after next to do the keyboards.

JEZEHELL-The music, lyrics and vocal melodies are all written for the song “Thy Kingdom Cum”.

OBLIVION WINTERS-Work will begin soon on the album Somber Nightfall. I’ve been quite busy with OMINOUS GRIM lately, so I had to put OBLIVION WINTERS on hold for a while.

OMINOUS GRIM-The 5 songs: “Ravens”, “The Fury”, “As the Fog Rolls In for the Slaughter”, “The Rebellion” and “Shunning the Light of Christ” are all ready for the final mix and bounce. The cards are in the mail… Also, the lyrics are done for “Forked Tongue and Cloven Hoof”, “Unholy Ritual (To Revel in Flesh)” and “Baptized by Satan”.

OMINOUS GRIM-I just finished the vocals for “Ravens”, “The Fury” and “As the Fog Rolls in for the Slaughter”. The new vocal setting is so much better it’s ridiculous! It’s really no comparison and should be much easier to mix on top of that. I’m so happy I changed the setting now. Now just two more to do “The Rebellion” and “Shunning the Light of Christ” and then I’ll be sending the cards back to Ominous so he can do the final mix for the 5 songs and then do the guitars/bass/first bounce for the 3 new songs.

OMINOUS GRIM-Everything but the vocals and final mix is done for 5 songs (“Ravens”, “As the Fog…”, “The Rebellion”, “The Fury” and “Shunning the Light of Christ”. We thought we had 2 of the songs finished, but the vocals needed to be redone due to quality issues. I’m in the process of finding the right vocal settings on the recorder. I’ll have the vocals done for the 5 songs sometime next week it looks like.

JEZEHELL-The guitar setting has been set, so that’s one less thing to figure out…

OBLIVION WINTERS-Work will begin on the drums for the album Somber Nightfall in the near future. I’m concentrating on OMINOUS GRIM at the moment, so once things settled down I’ll focus my energy on OW a little.

SPELLGHAST-Thanks to Ominous, I now have the same guitar pedal as him (Zoom G2). This was necessary for us to begin working on the new album. I printed out some blank tab sheets, so we’ll be able to write guitar tabs for each other in order to learn each others’ songs.

OMINOUS GRIM-The drums are finished for “Holy Ruins II (Falso in uno, falso in omnibus)”.
