SPELLGHAST-“Prelude”, the intro to the song “Pharoah’s March into Battle” is finished and so now is the album “Specter Dreams”. All that’s left to do is to decide on the song order.

OBLIVION WINTERS-The re-cording of the 2 songs “The Melody” and “Dreaded Scourge” are finished. I have exceeded my goal of finishing 4 songs before 2008 by completing 6! Now all that’s left for the album “The Lake of Widow’s Tears” are 3 songs and a short piece called “Requiem”.

SPELLGHAST-The song “Frost and Fire” is all finished. I’m all set to start recording the instrumental “Prelude”, which is an intro to the song “Pharoah’s March into Battle”. This track will conclude the album “Specter Dreams”. All I need to do is to create a metronome type drum track and record the layers of keyboards. No problem. It’ll last about a minute or so.

JEZEHELL-Things are getting more and more serious in the JEZEHELL camp. Ominous and I are getting excited. I made a sound developement compilation for him and he is very much enjoying it along with the prospect of creating music for this project.

OBLIVION WINTERS-The re-recording of the songs “The Melody” and “Dreaded Scourge” is underway. All the guitars are done for “The Melody” already, and the lead pattern guitars are done for “Dreaded Scourge”. I’m going to try to finish the keyboards and bass today for both songs. At the very least, I’ll finish the rythm guitars and solo for Dreaded Scourge. If all goes as planned, I’ll be doing the vocals tonight for both of them and the songs will be finished within the next few days. I might just do the vocals tonight and then do the bass and keyboards during the next few days.

SPELLGHAST-The keyboards and vocals were completed last friday. Ominous didn’t get a chance to be here on the weekend, so now we’ll have to finish the final mixing most likely on saturday.

OBLIVION WINTERS-The song “Murky Swamp” is finished. Also, due to my brilliance, the drum tracks were recovered for the re-recording of the songs “The Melody” and “Dreaded Scourge” (to my delight!!). That’ll save me about 4 hours… I always dread redoing songs, especially the drums. I plan on doing the drums for another 2 songs (“A Widow’s Walk Through the Forest” and “Take My Hand”) very soon as well. So now it’s 4 down and 5 1/2 to go. “The Lake of Widows’ Tears” is moving along nicely right now. My goal of recording 4 OW songs before 2008 has been accomplished.

SPELLGHAST-After much difficulty and frustration, the guitar and bass mix was finished this past weekend by Ominous and I for the new song. I’ll be recording the keyboards and vocals within the next few days, and hopefully the song will be finished this coming Saturday.

JEZEHELL-The sound is currently being developed for this goth metal project. It’s coming around great so far, as I have written a few new riffs and also determined the lyrical content and image. Also, Ominous is now an official member. I told him about the project vision I had, and he was impressed. Welcome to the sin-side Ominous. Together we will serve the queen of sin.

SPELLGHAST-Guitars and bass are finished for the new song. I haven’t decided whether or not I will do the keyboards and vocals this week before Ominous gets back and does the first bounce.

OBLIVION WINTERS-The song “The Perishing” was finished about a week or so ago. Work will begin on the next song “Murky Swamp” any day now.

SPELLGHAST-Ominous completed his guitars last night. Now I’ll try to finish mine before he comes here sunday. If all goes well, which it should, he’ll be able to do the bass on sunday as well. After that, I’ll get the keyboard and vocals done on one of my days off next week. The song should be finished next weekend.

OBLIVION WINTERS-I’ll be doing the vocals for “The Perishing” late tonight. My car/vocal studio is back! I’ll be working on “Murky Swamp” on my next days off as well. After that, I’ll work on the drums for “A Widow’s Walk Through the Forest”. Having to redo the first 2 songs (“The Melody” and “Dreaded Scourge”) is a setback, but I’m on a roll here and will continue with the OW crusade. I’m still trying to fulfill my goal of recording 4 songs before 2008. 2 are done, and 1 is very close to being finished. I don’t anticipate “Murky Swamp” being particularly difficult to record. It will get done damnit!! It’s already almost the end of November, so I need to keep my focus. I’m hoping I can somehow get a 5th song done even….

SPELLGHAST-Once the album Specter Dreams is finished, don’t expect to see a new SPELLGHAST album for a while. Don’t hold your collective breath…………. I’m definitely taking a break from this project. I’m a little burnt out. I need to work on something new. Expect to hear heavy dosages of OBLIVION WINTERS and GOD FORSAKEN WHORE.

OPEN HEART SUPPER-After listening to some old Sepultura and Kreator, I have been feeling like restarting OHS. We’ll see how far this goes. I’m going to talk to Lord Lumen and see what he thinks. He’s a real busy dude. San Diego isn’t that far though. I’m positive that we can make it work. I just have so much going on right now that I really need to get things settled first.

I’m considering buying a 7 string guitar which would be great for the funeral doomdeath project HEARTSICK. Once the SPELLGHAST album is finished, we will concentrate more on HEARTSICK and GOD FORSAKEN WHORE.

Atmospheric/melodic metal project LUPUS FATUM will now be known as LETHE’S VESSEL. I may try to find a female vocalist for this project. If not, I will become very experimental with my vocals….

I have officially decided to change my name back to Lunar Storm. Sadness was too limiting and I just didn’t feel like carrying around my depression in my name anymore. As some of you know, I’m obsessed with the rain. This said, I needed a name with some kind of reference to the rain in it so it made sense to switch back.

OMINOUS GRIM-The new album “Gaze into the Mirror Dark” is all finished.
